Wedding Stole

Groom organises a very special surprise gift for his Bride…

Adam came into the Bebanne Studio to discuss with Bev his idea for a wedding stole, which he wanted to give Suzanne on their wedding day, which was just a month away!… He wanted her to capture Suzanne’s love of owls! This was no problem for Bev, as she is a lover of nature… the real challenge was Adam had no idea of the colour scheme the bride has chosen…only that a thought the flowers were peach!

Bev set about planning the design of the stole to feature; Owls, Wedding Date, Bride & Grooms initials, all worked into silk using a delicate select of dyes in hues and tones of peach and cream. The whole project, from concept to completion, took 40 hours… an absolute labour of love to produce a beautiful original silk stole to be a memento of a very special day.

Both Adam and Bev held their breath until the moment Suzanne’s father presented her with the gift just before the wedding ceremony began!!

As you can see from the photographs capturing the moment it was a resounding success… Suzanne was both surprised and delighted with her very special gift.

Thank you

I can’t thank Bev enough for helping me give my beautiful bride such a beautiful and personal gift on our special day. Your wedding day goes so quick and it brings back all the fun memories every time she wears it.

I met Bev less than a month before our wedding and thought a personalised silk scarf was a great idea. I knew exactly what I wanted, but had no idea what it would look like or how to explain it. The creative process and questions Bev asked over a cup of coffee meant she really understood what I was looking for from the type of owls Suzanne liked, down to the all important colour scheme.

The outcome was incredible. have no idea how you did it, in such a short space of time. The colours of the scarf matched Suzanne’s dress perfectly.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Bebanne Art to anyone looking for that special gift.
